The One You Can't Ignore

These are the rules for the server. Follow these or face the consequence.
I'm stealing this from HF because I'm too stupid to write rules.
1. Spamming Repeatedly posting about a certain subject in a manner that is unwanted by (and possibly annoying to) the general population of this server will not be tolerated. Examples of spamming include, but not limited to, constantly asking for people to battle, away spamming, posting logs of any kind, constantly posting links, real or not, or typing in all caps/alternating caps. This includes when it takes place in a Private Message or in battle. If you have something long to post, use the forums.
2. Flaming / Discrimination Insulting others will not be tolerated. Discrimination of others due to age, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, race, etc, will also not be tolerated.
3. Inappropriate Topics We try to keep the server a fun, safe environment. Topics about religion, race, and nationality are not allowed due to it might spark arguments that no one can win.
4. Use of Foreign Languages No engaging in the use of foreign languages. “Hello”s, “Bye”s, “Yes”s, and “No”s are acceptable.
5. Screen Names Inappropriate screen names will not be tolerated. This includes, but not limited to, cuss words, innuendo, and political figures. This also refers to Personal Info, Winning Message, and Losing Message. Having a tag in your name is not tolerated. Furthermore, if you are muted, do not change your name to keep up with talking with ongoing conversations or asking to be demuted.
6. Number of Screen Names Maximum amount of screen names is twenty (20). No exceptions.
7. Hacking / Glitches Hacking the NetBattle program for your own personal gratification will not be tolerated. This also includes exploiting major glitches in the program.
8. Advertising Advertising NetBattle servers and personal clan forums will not be tolerated. This includes, but not limited to, private sites in general. Having a tag in your name counts as advertising. If you would like to advertise, talk to the owner or an administrator to see if it’s acceptable and they will do it for you.
9. Asking for Authority Asking of authority will not be tolerated. This includes, but not limited to, demanding auth or stating that you would make a better mod/admin than a current mod/admin. This also applies to asking for a demuting or unban.
10. Excessive Cussing / Vulgar Language Cussing IS allowed. However, repeated use of cussing and/or inappropriate language for the sole purpose of shock value will not be tolerated. Cussing includes, but not limited to, fuck (including compound words and typos), shit (including compound words and typos), vulgar slang for genitalia, and racial slurs. Censoring yourself is allowed, but you must cover the offending word with asterisks (*). Insulting/Flaming someone with any cuss word is an automatic kick or mute. This rule also applies to posting links that feature nudity or inappropriate material.
11. Muted/Banned If you are muted, do not go to another moderator or administrator to be demuted. Only the one who muted you may demute. If the auth is not present, you may ask another to demute. If you feel you were muted or banned unjustified, please make a coherent reason why you believe so to the auth who incited the mute/ban or at the forums at the designated place.
12. Common Sense / Etc. When it is all said and done, just use common sense. If you think something is bad, then don’t do it. Anything that the majority of the administrators find inappropriate will not be tolerated.
Now I know what your thinking, 'I have a right to free speech! What right do you have to say what I can/can‘t do?' Well yes, you may have a right to free speech, but not here. When you enter this server, you voluntarily gave up the right to certain kinds of speech in return for the ability hang out here. If you do not feel that you can't follow the rules here, you have the right to create your server and make your own rules there.
If you feel that the server is represented improperly, please state a valid, fair, and coherent reason stating why. If you feel like the individuals who have authority are not up to the task of having authority, please state a valid, fair, and coherent reason stating why. If you can't or just have blind hate for authority, please leave and find somewhere else to go.
Rules that could end up in a mute if broken. - Trolling/Flaming - Not dropping an arguing after being told by an mod or admin. - Disrespecting auth. - Unneeded comments. - Major arguing/minimodding - Correcting someone repeatitatively
Rules that could end up in a kick if broken. - Flaming/Trolling - PM Spam. - Insulting auth. - Disregarding a previous warning, or continuing something that happened before a mute. - 7-10 lines of spam in the main chat. - Not removing a tag in less then a minutes time. - Challenge Spam
Rules that could end up in a tempban if broken. - Advertising - Trolling/Flaming. - PM Spam. - Disregarding a previous warning. - Spam in the main chat. - Insulting auth. - Disobeying auth more then once. - Challenge Spam.
Rules that could end up in a ban if broken. - Advertising - Excessive Spam in either PM or in the main chat. - Unneeded flaming/trolling that is extremely offensive. - Discrimination. (Only if really severe.) - Disobeying or flaming of authority. - Disturbing the whole server. - Challenge Spam.
Authority can lose their admins or mods the following ways. - Abusing. - Muting without reason. - Unmuting before time is up. - Flaming another auth. - Deauthing without reason. - Authing someone without permission. - Reauthing someone the auth has deauthed themselves. - Unbanning someone without first asking. - FOLLOWING THE RULES TO A TEE.
Please be wary of these rules, knowing the consequences. Follow them to a happy medium. Thank you.
